Watering Equipment for the Garden

Additional watering makes it possible for gardeners to grow plants that need more rain than is provided naturally by the weather, and to grow plants both in the greenhouse and indoors.

Watering cans, hosepipes, seep hoses, trickle systems and sprinklers can be useful for helping us to carry out routine watering; the choice of method will depend on the size and location of the area to be watered and the moisture requirements of the plants themselves. Water butts are an excellent way to collect rainwater to re-use in the garden.
