Planting Equipment

Although there are a number of general or household items that may be used when planting or sowing (such as a stick or pencil to make seed planting holes), there are also some specially designed tools and equipment that can make the job quicker and easier. For example, whilst seed may simply be scattered across the growing medium, a wheeled sower will distribute the seed more evenly and can also make the work less tiring.

In this section, we take a look at the tools to use when planting and sowing, from soil sieves and seed trays to plant labels and supports.
